Under the regulations governing chemical management, enterprises intending to import restricted chemicals must satisfy specific legal and safety requirements.

Firstly, the enterprise must obtain a Certificate of Eligibility for the Production or Trading of Restricted Industrial Chemicals in accordance with the Law on Chemicals 2025. 

In addition, the enterprise must maintain storage facilities and equipment that meet safety standards appropriate to the nature of the chemicals being handled.

A qualified person in charge of chemical safety with relevant professional expertise must also be appointed.

Furthermore, the enterprise must ensure compliance with fire prevention and firefighting regulations, establish chemical incident response measures, and fulfill all relevant regulatory requirements before being granted an import permit.
