About promotional activities
In 2025, Vietnam’s promotional activities are governed by Decree No. 128/2024/NĐ-CP, effective from December 1, 2024. This decree amends previous regulations, notably setting a maximum promotional value at 50% of the product or service’s price immediately before the promotion period, with certain exceptions. Additionally, it simplifies administrative procedures by exempting businesses from reporting requirements for specific promotional activities, such as those with total prizes under 100 million VND or certain approved forms.
